The PAW-rade is rolling in Sandestin come join us. My 1st interview Susan Mcgary of Bark Avenue! Come join us!
Talk about "PAW-recious!" Truly...love at first bite! Today is the Krewe of Arfeous's Pooch Parade in Sandestin's Village of Baytowne Wharf. Yours truly will serve as the Emcee of the event. You should totally join us for a "howl-ing" good time!
Susan and Chris McGary of Bark Avenue in the Village host the event each year. Cute canines, precious pups and silly dog owners of every breed will parade down the cobblestone streets to chants of "throw me something mister!" Many of the shops, such as Bark Avenue, Frill Seekers Gifts and Tales by the Sea will be doing specials throughout the day. All shops will be pet-friendly this week.
The revelry begins at 2pm sharp, so plan on getting here early. Celebrity judges will watch the parade from a reviewing stand, while the Bay City Brass Band will fill the air with traditional Mardi Gras tunes.
It is a sight to see! Last year my favorite entry was an adorable pug who was costumed as Star Trek's Yoda and was parading atop a golf cart turned space ship.
If you are looking for a fun way to get into the Carnival spirit---this is it!
**The Village will also host a huge Fat Tuesday parade tomorrow at 5pm.**

Monogram Must haves for the Boater in your life!

While I haven't figured out how to personalize a fishing pole, just yet, I am "frilled" to report that there are some monogrammed items that make my life on the water with my fishing fanatic hubby and son more enjoyable.

Monogrammed Boat Decal(sorry, boat not included!)

Personalized Boater's Bag, Beach Towel and Snazzy Hat
My son, Andrew on the right proudly displays the catch of the day.

Well, you should get the picture by now. If I must endure choppy waters, windy conditions and smelly fish...I at least want to look cute. The other boaters are jealous and I am "frilled" about it.
EDITORS NOTE: More boating must haves tomorrow!

Mardi Gras time at the Beach!

Raise a glass, preferably a stylish fleur de lis glass from Frill Seekers, to toast Sandestin's
Carnival Celebration. The cobblestone streets of Baytowne Wharf fill with masked revelers, collector's beads and a precious pup parade.
